DCU Delay Coking Unit Valve

Delay coking unit valve, also know as coker/ coking valve is a special type of ball valve, which is a dedicated valve designed for delayed coking units. It adopts floating or trunnion structure, and the sealing surface of the valve seat is surfacing with hard alloy. Its working principle is to achieve opening and closing by rotating the ball 90° around the valve stem axis. The sealing pairs are ground and matched, providing excellent sealing performance. Its advantages lie in its high-temperature resistance, wear resistance, anti-coking, flexible switching and long service life. It is mainly applied to the opening and closing control of high-temperature medium pipelines in delayed coking units of the petroleum refining and chemical industry, such as the feeding and oil throwing pipelines of coke towers. TIPVALVE has learned the coking valve technology of Velan and Mogas, conducted in-depth research and continuous improvement, finally formed its own unique design. The independently produced coking ball valves have anti-coking and coking cutting functions and have been successfully applied in engineering projects such as the TAIF/ Komsomolsk refinery.
