Cryogenic LNG Butterfly Valve

Cryogenic butterfly valve is a type of butterfly valve specially designed for working conditions with extremely low temperatures of -196 ℃ and below. It adopts a packing box raising structure and can also be designed as top entry structure. The disc rotates 90° to achieve opening and closing, controlling the flow of the medium in the pipeline. Body is mostly of long-neck structure to prevent leakage due to cold shrinkage. Seat is often equipped with elastic metal or polytetrafluoroethylene seal. Stem is extended to avoid the external heat effect and keep the gland at room temperature to prevent the performance of the gland seal from decreasing. Its advantages lie in its compact structure, low flow resistance, reliable sealing at low temperatures, the ability to withstand the low-temperature impact of media such as liquid oxygen and liquid nitrogen, and the realization of online maintenance and replacement. Cryogenic treatment to ensure smooth opening and zero leakage under ultra-low temperature conditions. It is renowned for its outstanding cryogenic resistance and reliability, and is widely used in industrial pipeline systems for cryogenic media such as liquefied natural gas (LNG), liquid helium, and liquid hydrogen.
