Soft Seal Plug Valve

Soft-seal plug valve is an industrial valve used to control the direction change or cut-off of fluids. The valve body material can be selected as carbon steel, alloy steel or stainless steel. The valve plug and the valve seat are sealed with soft materials (such as rubber). This valve controls the opening and closing of the channel by rotating the plug 90°around the axis. Its working principle is that when the through hole of the plug is aligned with the pipeline, it conducts; when it is misaligned, it cuts off the flow path. The soft sealing surface is squeezed to form a tight seal. The advantages lie in excellent sealing performance, easy opening and closing, low flow resistance, and low sensitivity to impurities in the medium. It is mainly applied to the opening, closing and regulation of medium and low pressure pipelines such as water, oil and natural gas, especially suitable for scenarios containing particles or viscous media, such as chemical, petroleum and water supply and drainage systems.
