Casted Globe Valve

Casted globe valve is one type of globe valve, emphasizes that valve material is from casting process. Globe valve, also known as stop valve. It is a type of forced sealing valve. Therefore, when the valve is closed, pressure must be applied to the valve disc to force the sealing surface not to leak. When the medium enters the valve from below the disc, the resistance that the operating force needs to overcome is the friction between the valve stem and the packing and the thrust generated by the pressure of the medium. The force required to close the valve is greater than that required to open it, so the diameter of the valve stem should be larger; otherwise, the valve stem may bend at the top. The advantages of casted globe valve lie in its good sealing performance, simple structure, convenient maintenance, and the high strength, high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance of the cast steel material.
