Tilting Butterfly Check Valve

Tilting butterfly check valve is a special type of check valve, which consists of key components such as the valve body, valve disc, return spring, oil storage cylinder, slow-closing small cylinder group and needle valve. When the medium flows normally through the butterfly slow-closing check valve, the butterfly disc is pushed open by the pressure of the medium itself. When the flow direction of the medium reverses, the butterfly disc will be subjected to its own weight, the elastic force of the torsion spring and the force of the counter current medium. These forces jointly prompt the butterfly plate to move in the direction of closure. Tilting butterfly check valve is compact in size, light in weight and very flexible in installation. It is particularly suitable for drainage pipes of media such as clear water, sewage and seawater. They can not only effectively prevent the backflow of media, but also significantly reduce the impact of destructive water hammer, thus ensuring the safe operation of pipelines. However, they are not suitable for media containing solid particles or with high viscosity.
