Double Eccentric Butterfly Valve

Double eccentric butterfly valve is a valve that achieves sealing through two eccentric designs, namely the valve stem deviates from the center of the valve disc and the valve seat axis deviates from the center of the pipeline. Its working principle is that when the valve disc rotates, the eccentric structure reduces friction, and when it is closed, it is sealed by mechanical extrusion (metal hard seal) or elastic deformation (soft seal). The advantages are low wear, high sealing and light torque, and it has the functions of intercepting, connecting and regulating flow. The structure is more complex than the concentric butterfly valve, cost is higher, but the performance is better, so widely used in water treatment, petrochemical, electric power, metallurgy and other key pipeline systems.
