How the choke valve works

1. The choke valve is suitable for controlling the choke valve liquid by changing the cross section of the choke valve or the length of the choke valve. Combining the choke valve with this product can form a unilateral choke valve, and combining it with a double valve makes a double choke valve.

2. Installation of choke valve

1. Before installation, the choke valve should be disassembled, cleaned and assembled according to the requirements of the drawings, and the sealing surface should be checked for damage. If it is disassembled and installed, it will be assembled without disassembly when leaving the factory, and it will be installed directly without disassembly at the site.

2. Before installing the choke valve, prepare the corresponding tools, close the sluice gate, and rinse the pipeline to avoid debris in the pipeline from damaging the sealing surface and causing valve leakage.

3. The valve is generally installed vertically, but can also be installed horizontally.

4. The valve should be installed on the pipeline according to the medium flow direction arrow shown on the valve body.

5. When assembling, the set screw must be aligned with the valve body groove and tightened to prevent the valve cover from loosening.

6. The upper and lower layers of the valve packing are corrugated packing, and the middle is flexible graphite packing. Tighten the nuts of the joint bolts at the packing gland before putting into operation, so as to prevent the packing from being washed away during operation and causing serious leakage. If the packing is found during operation If there is bubbling or slight leakage at the box, the nut of the joint bolt at the packing gland must be re-tightened in time until no leakage occurs.

7. When the valve is disassembled when the furnace is shut down for maintenance, the sealing surface of the valve must be inspected, re-ground, replaced with packing and gasket, and re-assembled and debugged.

8. When the valve is connected to the pipeline, it should be carried out in strict accordance with the “electrical construction regulations” or the welding specifications and welding procedures provided by the manufacturer.
