  Quintex Frictionless Ball Valve is designed to solve expansion and contraction deformationin high temperature 850℃, cryogenic -196℃, high pressure industry.

  Technical Characteristics for Quintex Frictionless Ball Valve:
1. No switch and frictionless:When the ball immediately deviates from the seat and then rotates, eliminating the friction between the ball and the seat and solving the seat wear problem of traditional ball valves. This frictionless or frictionless seat seal does not cause wear during frequent switching, thus avoiding damage to the seat seal caused by traditional ball valves, greatly extending the sealing life of the ball valve, while ensuring long-term zero leakage and tight sealing despite frequent valve switching. No local flushing of high speed fluid: when the ball valve is on and off, the ball and the seat will rotate again after the ball is off the seat.As a result, the fluid flows immediately along the sealing surface in the 360° range at the moment when the valve “opens” or is about to close. As the fluid begins to flow, it can clean the foreign impurities existing on the seat and ball. Therefore, the eccentric ball valve fundamentally avoids the local seat erosion caused by the high-speed fluid generated by the traditional ball valve in the “open” and “almost closed” moments. Even in the severe operating pressure difference, it can still ensure the long-term zero leakage and tight seal, while greatly improving the service life of the ball valve.
2. Mechanical seal (active or forced seal): Ball valve stem provides a mechanical force for a continuous tight seal. This special mechanical force of the seal is not affected by the size and temperature of the line pressure, can be in total differential pressure and total temperature range two-way tight seal, eliminates the traditional DBB ball valve seating on spring preload along with the change of pressure and temperature of its sealing ability is no guarantee that defects, therefore more suitable for the pressure and temperature fluctuations requirement for valves, long-term to maintain good sealing, maintenance and replacement of valve don’t allow parking often harsh working conditions.
3. Single seat design: the static seat design of the ball valve can guarantee bidirectional zero leakage, avoid the traditional double seat DBB ball valve due to the change in the temperature of the valve chamber medium caused by the double seal valve chamber pressure rise and easy to lock the problem.
4. Line seal and face seal combination of double seal: seat seal design for line seal and face seal combination of double seal.The first line seal as initial seal at the same time the ball sealing surface can be swept clean, avoid injury of impurities sphere seal face, the second face seal can be secondary to strengthen seal (high pressure, high temperature two-way sealed, and the key technologies of zero leakage), sphere, seating surface coating or different hard surfacing polishing sealing surface, increase hardness difference, can strengthen the wear-resisting degree, will have large area because of the same material friction scratches, so even in high pressure differential, frequent switch with granular impurities and medium harsh working conditions, also can ensure tight seating and zero leakage.
5. Design of packing gland with disc spring: the preload of the disc spring keeps the packing gland in a tight state all the time, so as to avoid stem seal leakage caused by loose packing parts in temperature changing condition and vibration condition of pipeline, so as to ensure long-term zero leakage of the valve.

  6. Optional — shaft sleeve dustproof and anti-crystallization structure: the shaft sleeve is designed with drainage tank, the valve in the opening and closing process, through the drainage tank to the stem for scraping, dust and other solid media will not flow into the stem with the pressure, to avoid crystallization resulting in stem holding or increase torque.

  7. Optional — top mounted design: after the system pressure relief, can be online inspection and maintenance, so that maintenance is simple.
