Control valve is composed of two main components: body components and actuator components (or actuator system), divided into four series: single-seat series Control valve, two-seat series Control valve, sleeve series Control valve and self-operated series Control valve. Variations of the four types of valves lead to a wide variety of applicable configurations, each with its own specific applications, characteristics, advantages and disadvantages. While some control valves have a wider range of operating conditions than others, they are not suitable for all operating conditions to collectively build the best solutions to enhance performance and reduce costs.
There are many kinds of valve body control valve, commonly used through single seat, through double seat, Angle, diaphragm, small flow, three, eccentric rotation, butterfly, sleeve type, spherical, etc. In the specific selection, the following considerations can be consider:
1. According to the selected flow characteristics and unbalanced force and other factors to consider.
2. When the fluid medium is a suspension containing high concentration of abrasive particles, the internal material of the valve should be hard.
3. As the medium is corrosive, try to choose the valve with simple structure.
4. When the temperature and pressure of the medium are high and vary greatly, the material of the valve core and the valve seat should be subject to small changes in temperature and pressure of the valve.
5. Flash and steam occur only in liquid media. In the actual production process, flash and steam will form vibration and noise, shorten the service life of the valve, so the valve should be selected to prevent flash and steam.
The principle of control valve selection
1. According to the process conditions, choose the appropriate structure form and material.
2. According to the characteristics of the process object, select the flow characteristics of the control valve.
3. According to the process operation parameters, choose the appropriate control valve diameter size.
4. Select the required auxiliary devices according to the requirements of the process.
5. Reasonable selection of executive agencies. Actuator response speed should be sufficient to meet the process.
